Questions about starting a project
What people usually ask before they write
What happens after I write?
We reply within one business day, usually with a few questions. If it is a project, a short call follows, then a written scope and estimate. Nothing is agreed until you have read it and said yes.
Do I need a detailed specification?
No. A few lines are enough: what it is for, who will use it, when you need it and, if you know it, a rough budget. Working out the details is part of the first step, and you get them back in writing.
Do you stay on after launch?
Yes, for as long as you want. Hosting, updates, fixes and new features continue after launch, and the documentation is kept up to date.
What is your typical response time?
Within one business day. Software, hosting and support questions come to the same inbox and are answered by the people doing the work.
Which technologies do you use?
Any stack the project calls for: PHP, JavaScript and TypeScript, Python, Go, Java or .NET on the server, any modern front end, native or cross-platform code for mobile, and Unity, Unreal or Godot for games. We pick what fits the project and what your team can maintain later.
Can you work with a large company’s procurement process?
Yes. We provide a written scope, a milestone plan and the documentation that supplier reviews and security questionnaires ask for.
Can you take over a site or app someone else built?
Yes, whatever it is built with. We start with a review of the code and the hosting, tell you plainly what we find, and propose a staged plan in place of a full rewrite.
