The idea

A company site your team can edit

PN Scripts Press is our own content management system on Laravel and Filament. We build your company site on it: your design as a theme, your pages from blocks, and anything special as a plugin. Your team edits texts, images, menus and the blog in the admin, and the code is public under the MIT license.

  1. Pages built from blocks, with child pages, drafts, scheduled publishing and restorable revisions.
  2. Content in English and Bulgarian: each language with its own addresses, menus and settings, and a language switcher.
  3. A blog with categories, drafts and scheduled posts.
  4. Nested menus, a media library with alt text and captions, SEO fields, redirects and a fast page cache.
  5. Editor roles and two-factor sign-in, so each person in your team sees what they need, safely.
  6. Your design as a theme (or a child theme) and your extra features as plugins, kept apart from the core.

How a site project runs

  1. Scope in writing

    We go through your pages, your content and who will edit it, and confirm in writing what the site will include and what it costs before any work starts.

  2. Your theme on the platform

    Your design becomes a PN Scripts Press theme, and any extra feature a plugin, so the site can take platform updates.

  3. Launched, then handed over

    We install the site on your hosting, check it with you on a phone and a computer, and show your team how to edit it.

Questions about a site on PN Scripts Press

What companies ask before we start.

Who owns the site?

You do. The site runs on your hosting, and PN Scripts Press is open source under the MIT license, so you keep the code and can change it or move to another developer.

What does it cost?

We send a written offer after a short review of your pages and content. For a small business site, also compare the fixed-price Business website package on our Services page.

Can the site be in two languages?

Yes. Since version 1.1 every page, post, category and menu can be written in English and Bulgarian, each language with its own addresses, a language switcher and hreflang links. Your team translates an item with one click and edits the copy.

What hosting does it need?

PHP 8.4 or newer and an SQLite, MySQL or PostgreSQL database. We check your hosting before we start.

Can I look at the platform first?

Yes. The code and the 1.1 releases are public on GitHub and Packagist (composer create-project pnscripts/pn-press), and the screenshots on this page are taken from a fresh install of the platform.
