The idea

A shop on a platform we build ourselves

PN Scripts Shop is our own open-source shop platform. We build your shop on it: the catalog, the checkout, payments, shipping and your theme, set up for the way you sell. It runs on your hosting, the code is public under the MIT license, and nothing ties you to us.

  1. Products with variants, stock, brands and filterable attributes.
  2. Cash on delivery and bank transfer built in; card payments through the Stripe Checkout and PayPal plugins.
  3. Shipping zones, tax rates, promotions, coupons, invoices, refunds and returns.
  4. Pages built from content blocks, menus and SEO, with English and Bulgarian storefronts.
  5. Your look as a child theme and anything special as a plugin, so platform updates stay simple.

How a shop project runs

  1. Scope in writing

    We go through what you sell, how customers pay, how you deliver and which languages you need, and confirm in writing what the shop will do and what it costs before any work starts.

  2. Built on the platform

    Your theme, your settings and any plugin you need sit on top of PN Scripts Shop, never inside its core, so the shop can take platform updates.

  3. Tested, then handed over

    We install the shop on your hosting, place a test order with you from cart to refund, and hand over the admin and the code.

What shop owners ask before we start.

Who owns the shop?

You do. The shop runs on your hosting, and PN Scripts Shop is open source under the MIT license, so you keep the code and can change it or move to another developer.

What does it cost?

Every shop is different, so we send a written offer after a short review of what you sell and how. The platform itself is free.

Does it handle Ordinance H-18 and Bulgarian couriers?

Not in the current release: Econt, Speedy and the H-18 documents are not built in yet. If you need them today, our Shop setup for Bulgaria service sets them up on WooCommerce, PrestaShop or OpenCart.

What hosting does it need?

PHP 8.4 or newer, a MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL or SQLite database, and a cron entry for the scheduler; on a server, also a queue worker. We check your hosting before we start.

Can I look at the platform first?

Yes. The code, the documentation and the releases are public on GitHub and Packagist, and the screenshots on this page are taken from the platform itself.
