The gap
Bluffing games against a computer feel flat when the rivals either always call or never do, and newcomers cannot judge a bid.
What it is
This template gives the rivals a real odds model with skill levels, shows the player the chance of their bid by their own dice and gives the weaker rivals readable tells.
How you use it
Unzip, serve the folder and open index.html, then edit game.js; npm test plays it again in headless Chrome.
Source code of a real, playable game to reskin and learn from, with a smoke test whose bot plays it.
Use it when
Built for
With ones wild every unknown die matches a face with chance one in three, so the chance a bid holds is a binomial tail over the dice you cannot see.
The best rivals call Liar! when the bid is likelier false than their own best raise is true; weaker ones use a fixed trust level and bluff more.
Plain JavaScript and Canvas 2D; open index.html through any static server and edit game.js.
A headless Chrome test loads the game, checks the console, presses keys and taps, and lets the built-in bot play a run to its result screen.
