The gap
Local party games need fair input for several people on one device and rules that newcomers understand in seconds.
What it is
This template gives each player a screen corner and a key, shows every new rule with an example before it starts, and keeps solo players busy with computer rivals tuned per cup.
How you use it
Unzip, serve the folder and open index.html, then edit game.js; npm test plays it again in headless Chrome.
Source code of a real, playable game to reskin and learn from, with a smoke test whose bot plays it.
Use it when
Built for
Each challenge kind is a function that makes the next stage and says whether it matches; the round asks for a match now and then, so adding a kind is a few lines.
Computer seats react after a time drawn around their cup's speed and sometimes buzz too soon, so they lose points the same way people do.
Plain JavaScript and Canvas 2D; open index.html through any static server and edit game.js.
A headless Chrome test loads the game, checks the console, presses keys and taps, and lets the built-in bot play a run to its result screen.
