A rule of its own
The hearth: heat falls off from the fire, every tray shades the spots behind it, a cool morning hearth and logs; doneness by placement, villagers who like their bakes one way. All in hearth settings and the core simulation, with tests that prove placement matters.
One config file
Season and stars, shop numbers, ingredients, recipes, upgrades, villagers, story notes, the special order, colours and sound.
Seasons with a proof
On every npm test greedy, lazy and idle test bakers replay 20 seasons: each reaches the festival, never broke and never stuck.
A finished game
Ten recipes, ten villagers, the hearth with heat, shading and logs, upgrades, a daily special order and a festival ending.
Tests and a guide
34 unit tests and Playwright browser runs, a size budget, an upload zip for itch.io or any static host, and a guide to adding recipes, villagers and days.

Node.js 22.12 or newer and some TypeScript. Google Chrome runs the browser tests.
No ad or portal SDK, and English only. It is tested in desktop Chrome and Chrome's Pixel 7 emulation, not yet on iOS Safari, Firefox or a real phone.
The code was written with AI assistance and checked by PN Scripts with automated tests. All visuals and sounds are generated by code; there are no AI-generated image or audio files.
