The gap
Colouring apps need every closed area found reliably, fills without white halos at the lines, and new pictures without drawing tools.
What it is
This template labels areas automatically, fills under the lines and takes new pictures as small draw functions.
How you use it
Unzip, serve the folder and open index.html, then edit game.js; npm test plays it again in headless Chrome.
Source code of a real, playable game to reskin and learn from, with a smoke test whose bot plays it.
Use it when
Built for
The picture is drawn once at double resolution; a flood-fill pass gives every enclosed area an id, and line pixels join a neighbouring area so colour reaches under the soft edges.
Each picture lists a few points with colours; the area under each point gets that colour as its target, which drives colour by number, the magic button and the cover.
Plain JavaScript and Canvas 2D; open index.html through any static server and edit game.js.
A headless Chrome test loads the game, checks the console, presses keys and taps, and lets the built-in bot play a run to its result screen.
