The gap
Retro and PSX-style games need low-resolution textures that tile, share one light direction and one texel density, and still have a look of their own instead of the same generic stone and metal.
Game assets
Plum slate, ember-lit mortar and carved runes: seamless low-res dungeon and castle textures. 80 textures with albedo and normal maps.
Sold on itch.io. PN Scripts does not take payment for it here.
The gap
Retro and PSX-style games need low-resolution textures that tile, share one light direction and one texel density, and still have a look of their own instead of the same generic stone and metal.
What it is
80 seamless textures with their own palette and motifs, drawn at about 64 px per metre with the same light as the other PN Retro Textures packs, with albedo and normal maps and ready-made Godot materials.
How you use it
Download the ZIP, drop the PNG files into your engine and set the filtering to nearest for the crisp look.
A themed set with its own art direction rather than a mixed collection: every texture fits the same place, palette and light.

Built for
Plum slate ashlar, ashlar with moss and damp streaks, ash-blue blocks blackened by soot, embers glowing through the mortar.
Irregular and worn flagstones, flagstones over a fire with ember light between the slabs, hexagonal slate tiles.
Blackened oak floorboards, wide worn boards, rotting boards and heavy beams.
Oak doors with and without bronze straps, a wine-painted door and riveted iron vault plates.
Rune bands, ember channels with bronze bands, carved oak and chapel cornices with gilt runes.
Wine tapestry, a hanging with woven runes, banner cloth and a worn striped hall rug.
Animated ember coals, banked coals under a slate crust, a perforated bronze floor plate and slate diamonds with gold inlay.
