The gap
A browser rhythm game needs music you may use, charts that match it exactly and timing you can trust; licensing tracks and charting them by hand is slow and expensive.
Game templates
The complete TypeScript and three.js source of Gleamtide, a calm rhythm game whose songs are composed by its own code: no music to license, and every chart is proven on the beat.

The gap
A browser rhythm game needs music you may use, charts that match it exactly and timing you can trust; licensing tracks and charting them by hand is slow and expensive.
What it is
A finished, tested rhythm game whose songs and charts come from a seeded composer, so a new song is one config line.
How you use it
Unzip, run npm ci and npm run dev, then edit src/game.config.ts; npm test checks the game again in seconds.
Source code of a real, playable game to reskin and learn from, with its proofs built into the tests.
Use it when
Built for
Title, logo, save key, colours, timing windows, grades, stars, difficulties, the song list (seed, tempo, length, key, scale, density) and the daily song.
The tests check every song: same seed, same song; notes on the beat grid with a minimum gap; every gleam a heard note; a perfect autoplay scores 100 %.
Seven songs and a daily song, two lanes or one key, calibration, combo, grades and stars, a night sea that pulses with the beat, saves and layouts for desktop and phones.
28 unit tests and Playwright browser runs, a size budget, an upload zip for itch.io or any static host, and a guide: add a song, tune timing, more lanes, hold notes.
