The gap
Generated logic puzzles often have more than one answer, which spoils the deduction.
What it is
This template counts solutions with a pruned solver and keeps only puzzles with exactly one.
How you use it
Unzip, serve the folder and open index.html, then edit game.js; npm test plays it again in headless Chrome.
Source code of a real, playable game to reskin and learn from, with a smoke test whose bot plays it.
Use it when
Built for
Tents are scattered so that none touch, each gets a tree on a free side, and the row and column numbers are read off; the solver then decides whether the puzzle keeps only that answer.
The solver always places the tent of the tree with the fewest legal spots and checks that every row and column can still reach its number, so 10 x 10 puzzles are proven unique in a few milliseconds.
Plain JavaScript and Canvas 2D; open index.html through any static server and edit game.js.
A headless Chrome test loads the game, checks the console, presses keys and taps, and lets the built-in bot play a run to its result screen.
