The gap
Typing games for Cyrillic often fail players who have no Cyrillic layout installed, and they rarely work on touch screens.
What it is
This template accepts both native and phonetic input and draws its own keyboard for touch.
How you use it
Unzip, serve the folder and open index.html, then edit game.js; npm test plays it again in headless Chrome.
Source code of a real, playable game to reskin and learn from, with a smoke test whose bot plays it.
Use it when
Built for
A keypress is matched as typed first; if it is a Latin key in Bulgarian mode, the phonetic map turns it into the Cyrillic letter.
Each rival rows at a fixed number of characters per minute, so a heat is a clear speed target that rises step by step.
Plain JavaScript and Canvas 2D; open index.html through any static server and edit game.js.
A headless Chrome test loads the game, checks the console, presses keys and taps, and lets the built-in bot play a run to its result screen.
