The gap
Path-drawing games are hard to play without a mouse or a touchscreen, and hard to test automatically.
What it is
This template builds the same paths from keyboard commands and lets a bot plan them against predicted traffic, through the very function a drawn line uses.
How you use it
Unzip, serve the folder and open index.html, then edit game.js; npm test plays it again in headless Chrome.
Source code of a real, playable game to reskin and learn from, with a smoke test whose bot plays it.
Use it when
Built for
While you drag, each new point is checked against the landing zones of the aircraft's colour; when it reaches a threshold from roughly the right direction the path snaps to it and turns solid.
Every aircraft can be walked forward along its path at its own speed; the bot uses that to test approach candidates against all other traffic before it commits one.
Plain JavaScript and Canvas 2D; open index.html through any static server and edit game.js.
A headless Chrome test loads the game, checks the console, presses keys and taps, and lets the built-in bot play a run to its result screen.
