The gap
Most idle games show income as a number, so upgrades feel abstract and the screen stays still.
What it is
This template moves every item on screen and lets the slowest machine set each line's pace, so upgrades are visible and choosing them is a real decision.
How you use it
Unzip, serve the folder and open index.html, then edit game.js; npm test plays it again in headless Chrome.
Source code of a real, playable game to reskin and learn from, with a smoke test whose bot plays it.
Use it when
Built for
Items are kept sorted from the front; each one moves up to the item ahead minus the spacing, stops at a busy machine and is handed over when the machine is free.
A line's flow is the smallest of drill rate, belt rate and machine rates; the panel and the bot use the same numbers, so the advice on screen matches the game.
Plain JavaScript and Canvas 2D; open index.html through any static server and edit game.js.
A headless Chrome test loads the game, checks the console, presses keys and taps, and lets the built-in bot play a run to its result screen.
