The gap
A memory game with only classic pairs gets stale quickly, and every extra mode usually means a separate code base.
Game templates

The gap
A memory game with only classic pairs gets stale quickly, and every extra mode usually means a separate code base.
What it is
This template keeps four memory modes, their level tables and their bots in one small file around a shared level map.
How you use it
Unzip, serve the folder and open index.html, then edit game.js; npm test plays it again in headless Chrome.
Source code of a real, playable game to reskin and learn from, with a smoke test whose bot plays it.
Use it when
Built for
Each pairs level is one line: grid size, restless flag, number of chameleon pairs and the mistake budget.
Echo and n-back levels are small tables too, so new difficulty steps need no new code.
Plain JavaScript and Canvas 2D; open index.html through any static server and edit game.js.
A headless Chrome test loads the game, checks the console, presses keys and taps, and lets the built-in bot play a run to its result screen.
