A cutaway market stall built from the Rainlight Lanes kit: wet asphalt, brick and shopfront walls, crates, gas canisters, neon signs and paper lanterns

What it solves

The gap

Blocking out a retro 3D level needs walls, floors, doors and props that share one grid, one texture style and ready collision, and mixed free packs rarely match.

What it is

25 pieces made for one grid and one texture family (Rainlight Lanes), exported for Godot, Unity and Blender with collision children.

How you use it

Unzip, drop the .glb files into Godot and start snapping pieces on a 2 m grid; collision is already there.

A small, consistent kit that matches the PN Retro Textures packs and Retro Level Builder's grid.

Who it is for

Use it when

  • Blocking out and dressing retro and PSX-style 3D levels.
  • Prototyping first-person or horror games in Godot or Unity.
  • Adding hand-placed detail to levels built with Retro Level Builder.

Built for

  • Indie developers making retro and PSX-style 3D games.
  • Level designers who want pieces and textures that match.

What is inside

25 pieces

Wet-asphalt, wet-sett and steam-grate floors, a tarp ceiling, a sunken rain pool; sooty brick, shopfront-tile and half walls, a doorway, a framed doorway and a rainy window; a roller shutter, a mesh cage, a corner column, a pillar, a bamboo beam, a steel railing, a ledge and a glowing neon sign; stairs, a ramp and a platform; a produce crate, a gas canister and a paper lantern.

One grid

Cell pieces are centred on 2 x 2 m cells; walls, doors and beams sit on the lines between cells and turn in 90 degree steps; the ceiling slab is already at 4 m.

Ready for the engine

One .glb, .fbx and .obj per piece with a "-colonly" collision child. Godot 4 turns it into a StaticBody3D; in Unity add a Mesh Collider to it.

Matching textures

The pieces use the Rainlight Lanes textures (wet asphalt and setts, sooty brick, celadon shopfront tiles, tarps and neon), so they match levels made with that pack.

Questions

No. The textures the pieces use are included. The full Rainlight Lanes pack has more textures in the same style and is sold separately.

The .glb files were imported and checked in Godot 4.7.1. The .fbx and .obj files open in Blender with the right size; Unity and Unreal were not tested.

Yes, royalty-free in your own games and other projects, with no credit needed. You may not resell or share the models or textures as assets.

The pieces were modelled by a Python script in Blender and the textures were generated by code: no photographs, no third-party assets and no AI-generated images. Code written with the help of an AI coding assistant; checked by PN Scripts with automated tests and in Godot.
