The gap
Traffic games need vehicles that queue, brake and clear junctions believably, or crashes feel random instead of earned.
Game templates
The complete source of Signalbrook, a traffic light control game with car-following traffic, red-light runners, buses, ambulances and ten levels. A headless smoke test proves keyboard and touch input and lets the built-in bot play the whole campaign.

The gap
Traffic games need vehicles that queue, brake and clear junctions believably, or crashes feel random instead of earned.
What it is
This template gives a tested traffic model with honest crash causes, ten tuned levels and a level select you can extend with new maps.
How you use it
Unzip, serve the folder and open index.html, then edit game.js; npm test plays it again in headless Chrome.
Source code of a real, playable game to reskin and learn from, with a smoke test whose bot plays it.
Use it when
Built for
Every lane is an axis and a direction; cars follow their leader, brake for red and decide on amber by their braking distance.
Waiting time drives the honking, the anger meter and the red-light runners, the only drivers who can cause a crash.
Plain JavaScript and Canvas 2D with no runtime dependencies; open index.html through any static server and edit game.js.
A headless Chrome test loads the game, checks the console, presses keys and taps, and lets the built-in bot play a run to its result screen.
