The gap
3D browser games are often heavy and hard to start; a flight game also needs terrain that matches its collision exactly.

The gap
3D browser games are often heavy and hard to start; a flight game also needs terrain that matches its collision exactly.
What it is
This template builds each valley from one height function used for both the mesh and collisions, and keeps the scene light.
How you use it
Unzip, serve the folder and open index.html, then edit game.js; npm test plays it again in headless Chrome.
Source code of a real, playable game to reskin and learn from, with a smoke test whose bot plays it.
Use it when
Built for
The valley shape, the terrain mesh and the crash test all read the same function, so what you see is what you hit.
Lateral speed eases toward the stick, vertical speed toward a sink rate changed by pitch and thermals, and forward speed trades with climbing.
Plain JavaScript with the bundled three.js and a Canvas 2D HUD; open index.html through any static server and edit game.js.
A headless Chrome test loads the game, checks the console, presses keys and taps, and lets the built-in bot play a run to its result screen.
