The gap
A nonogram is only fair when its solution is unique, and checking that by hand for every picture is slow and error-prone.
Game templates
The complete source of Stitchwold, a nonogram game with 24 pictures proven unique by a built-in line solver; the smoke test has a bot stitch a picture to the end.

What it is
This template proves uniqueness in code and gives you a polished board, a gallery and touch-ready painting.
How you use it
Unzip, serve the folder and open index.html, then edit game.js; npm test plays it again in headless Chrome.
Source code of a real, playable game to reskin and learn from, with a smoke test whose bot plays it.
Use it when
Built for
Each picture is a name, a thread colour and rows of # and dots; the clues are computed for you.
If a new picture cannot be solved by line logic alone, the game throws on load and names it.
Plain JavaScript and Canvas 2D with no runtime dependencies; open index.html through any static server and edit game.js.
A headless Chrome test loads the game, checks the console, presses keys and taps, and lets the built-in bot play a run to its result screen.
