Your application, on Laravel or NextPressKit

Two stacks we build on, presented the same way, and a written recommendation for the one that fits your project.

Stack two
NextPressKit: Go and TanStack

Yours, open source stacks

The idea

Two stacks, one honest choice

When a shop or a company site is not enough, we build the application you need on one of two stacks. Laravel with a Filament admin is the one this website, PN Scripts Press and PN Scripts Shop are built on. NextPressKit is our open-source starter with a Go API and a TanStack Start web app. We recommend one after we understand your project and give the reasons in writing; the code is yours either way.

  1. Laravel with Filament: PHP, a full admin panel from the first weeks, and hosting that is easy to find.
  2. NextPressKit: a typed Go API documented in OpenAPI, and a separate React web app.
  3. The choice is written down with its reasons before any work starts.
  4. Both stacks are open source, and the code we write for you is yours.

Questions

Questions about custom development

What teams ask before we start.

Which stack will you recommend?

The one that fits your project. Laravel with Filament for most business applications with an admin at their heart; NextPressKit when the API is the product or several apps share it. We write the reasons down before work starts.

Is NextPressKit the only option for custom work?

No. Laravel with Filament is the other stack we build on, on equal terms, and it is the one this website runs on.

Who owns the code?

You do. Laravel, Filament and NextPressKit are open source, and the code we write for you is handed over with the project.

What does it cost?

We send a written offer after a short review of what the application must do. Nothing starts before you agree to it.

Can you take over an existing Laravel application?

Yes. Our Laravel and Filament upgrades and care service covers upgrades, fixes and monthly care for existing applications.
