What it solves

The gap

Screenshots for a store page, a blog, a pitch deck or a client report look unfinished as raw rectangles, and framing them means opening a design tool every time, or uploading pages to an online mockup service.

What it is

Ramka frames the page you are looking at in two clicks, inside Firefox, with the frame, background and size remembered for next time, and saves or copies the result without anything leaving your computer.

How you use it

Presentable pictures of any page in seconds, at the exact size the next place needs.

A quick, private screenshot framer for people who show web pages for a living: developers, designers, marketers and writers.

Who it is for

Use it when

  • A developer framing screenshots of a client's new site for the hand-over report
  • A marketer making a 1200 by 630 link preview and a square post of a landing page
  • A writer adding framed pictures of an app to a blog post or a slide deck

Built for

  • Web developers, designers and agencies who show pages to clients
  • Marketers, writers and teachers who put screenshots in posts and slides

What is inside

Two clicks from page to picture

Click the Ramka button and choose the visible part or the whole page, or press a shortcut. The editor opens next to the page with the picture framed in your last settings, and the address of the page in the bar, which you can change or clear.

Whole pages, done by Firefox

Firefox draws the full length of a page into one picture, so there is no scrolling and stitching and no repeated sticky headers. The visible part comes without the scroll bar, and both are sharp on high-density screens.

Frames and backgrounds

A light or dark browser window, a plain window, a phone, a tablet or a laptop, drawn as plain devices, on eight gradients, your own colour, the picture blurred or a transparent background. Space, shadow and corners are sliders.

The right size, saved or copied

Fit the picture, or choose 1600 by 900, 1200 by 630, square and portrait posts, 1920 by 1080 or 2560 by 1440, at 1x or 2x. Save as PNG, JPEG or WebP with a file name from the site and the time, or copy it to paste anywhere.

Questions

A Firefox extension that frames the visible part or the whole length of a web page, or any picture you give it, in a browser, phone, tablet or laptop frame on a background, at a chosen size, and saves or copies the result. It comes as an add-on file with its source folder.

Firefox 142 or newer on Windows, macOS or Linux. Nothing else is installed and no account is needed. It was tested with Firefox 156 on Linux.

A Chrome version, editing or blurring parts of a page, video, cloud upload and share links. Firefox does not allow pictures of its own pages and of add-ons.mozilla.org, and whole pages are cut at 16384 pixels. A permanent install needs the add-on signed by Mozilla; until then it loads as a temporary add-on.

Made by PN Scripts, a Sofia studio that builds games and tools, as a Manifest V3 Firefox extension in plain JavaScript, with the frames drawn as SVG and exported through a canvas. Created with AI assistance; the code was written for this extension and checked by PN Scripts with 13 automated tests, Mozilla's add-ons linter and a run in real Firefox that frames a whole page.
