What is inside
The zones, built in
Night from 22:00 to 06:00 in winter time and from 23:00 to 07:00 in summer time, switching with the clock change or on fixed dates. The zone, the price and the next change update exactly when the zone changes, at midnight and at the clock change.
Your prices
Enter the price of each zone as on your bill, an optional extra per kWh for network fees and VAT on top. The current price feeds the Energy dashboard, and every zone's price is in the attributes.
Energy and cost by zone
Choose a total energy sensor and Tokomer books every increase to the zone in force: day and night kWh for the Energy dashboard, cost today and this month, kept across restarts.
Actions for automations
best_start returns the cheapest start for a run of a given length between two times, with its cost; get_schedule returns the zones and prices of up to seven days for scripts and dashboards.

Home Assistant 2026.10.0 or newer. For energy and cost by zone, a sensor with your total energy in kWh, Wh or MWh, from a smart meter reader, a plug or an energy monitor.
No prices and no data from distributors' websites: you enter the prices from your bill. It does not read your meter itself. Holidays do not change the zones, as with Bulgarian household tariffs.
Written in Python as a standard Home Assistant integration with a config flow and translations. Created with AI assistance; the zones, prices, energy split and actions were checked by PN Scripts with 29 automated tests, 9 of them inside a real Home Assistant 2026.10.0 core, and in a running Home Assistant through the night-zone change.
