The gap
Deleting faces or running a boolean leaves holes and n-gons. Grid Fill gives up on uneven or concave borders, or returns a skewed grid that shades badly and is hard to keep editing.
Plugins
A Blender add-on that fills holes, n-gons and boolean cuts with clean all-quad patches. It picks the pattern for you, keeps your UVs and never writes folded faces.

The gap
Deleting faces or running a boolean leaves holes and n-gons. Grid Fill gives up on uneven or concave borders, or returns a skewed grid that shades badly and is hard to keep editing.
What it is
QuadMend fills the hole or rebuilds the selected faces with an all-quad patch. It chooses the corners and pattern from the border, splits concave borders, keeps UVs and checks every patch for folded faces before writing it.
How you use it
Select the border of a hole in Edit Mode and run Quad Fill from the right-click menu or the QuadMend sidebar tab.
A topology repair tool, not a remesher: it keeps your existing mesh and rebuilds only the holes, n-gons or faces you choose.
Use it when
Built for
Select the border of a hole, or the faces you want to redo, and get an all-quad patch. The corners and the pattern are picked from the shape of the border; concave borders are split first.
N-Gons to Quads groups the flat n-gons around each hole and rebuilds them as rings, balancing odd pairs so they need no triangles (Full).
Nine edges facing three get transition rows instead of a skewed grid. Quad Bridge joins two open chains with different counts (Full).
Every patch is checked before it touches your mesh. When no safe layout exists, the region is left as it was and QuadMend tells you why.
UVs are interpolated from the border, material slots and smooth shading are kept, and existing edges are never doubled.
In the repository benchmarks a 256-edge hole fills in about 0.2 s, and a hole in a 520,000-face mesh in under a second.
Version 1.0.0 is built and tested on Blender 4.2 LTS, 4.5 LTS and 5.2 LTS. Neither store has published it yet.
